When the question ( Where has Tom gone?) is part of a longer sentence ( Practise you know … ? / I don't know … / Can you lot tell me … ? etc.), the word order changes. We say:
   What time is information technology? but
   Who are those people?
   Where can I discover Linda?
    How much volition information technology price?
Do you know what time it is?
I don't know who those people are.
Can y'all tell me where I can find Linda?
Do you take any thought how much it will toll?

Be careful with
do/does/did questions. We say:
    What time does the picture show begin? only

    What do y'all mean?
    Why did she get out early on?

Do you lot know what rime the film begins?
(not does the film brainstorm)

Utilize if or whether where in that location is no other question discussion
( what, why etc.):
